I was watching my favorite sports on television when my wife asked me to switch the channel to another because she wants to watch her favorite game show. I did not replied to her request because the game was the championship game of my favorite team, plus it was my only time to watch television from along time from work. She insisted to switch the channel but I did not mind her. Besides, I never had the clearest subscription of channels since I had cable subscriptions from others until I switched to this Direct TV.

The price of genuine Epson D92 ink cartridges is on average about 25% less than the original purchase price of the printer itself and this leaves a lot of people rather disappointed because the D92 reveals itself to be less of a bargain than it first appeared. Printer ink cartridges for the D92 consist of four individual ink tanks, one for each colour and this means you only need to change the colour cartridges that is empty and not the whole lot like the old tri-colour printer cartridges. Although the ink cartridges for the D92 seem expensive compared to the cost of the printer, the D92 is no more expensive to run than any other inkjet printer it just costs less to buy and that makes people think that it will cost less to run. In terms of printing performance the D92 is nothing to write home about but it also has very little to complain about. Designed to be a basic everyday printer the D92 is exactly that, it doesn’t have any fancy features like wireless printing for memory card reader etc it just prints and it does this quite well, even being able to print photos to standard behind most people’s expectations of a budget inkjet printer. The printer is well designed and looks rather good with its dark grey and black finish, it compact too measuring just 435 x 219 x 165 (mm) so should fit on even the most cluttered of desks. Overall The Stylus D92 is a good printer but not a great one, but who would expect one at this price?

The Samsung CLP-300 is aimed primarily at home users and offers the benefits of a colour laser printer but with a purchase price of a inkjet. The purchase price of Samsung CLP-300 toner cartridges are also closer to that if inkjet printer cartridges than toner cartridges and although then print less than your average laser toner (2,000 pages black, 1,000 pages each colour) the cost per page is far better than you would get from an inkjet printer. As well as the genuine Samsung toner cartridges there are also remanufactured versions available for the CLP-300 which costs considerably less than the originals. The printer connects via USB, and there are five lights on the front for power/status and the others are low toner warning lights. Most importantly the print quality is surprisingly good, text is excellent and images, although showed signs of banding in some more complex graphics, is generally good. Another important factor of a laser printer is speed and although the CLP-300 is not the fastest it does perform as it says on the spec sheet which is a pleasant surprise compared to the overly exaggerated claims we usually see. In mono printing mode the CLP-300 is capable of 16ppm and colour 4ppm which is a big step up from anything you will get from an inkjet printer. Built quality of the CLP-300 is pretty average and its not the most attractive thing but its has been designed with function over form and this is best displayed in the amazing compact size. Overall The CLP-300 is a good first effort from Samsung and is sure to suit a lot of people printing needs.
